Panama City Sign Waving

On 6/11/2009, Workers in Panama City, FL, combined their efforts for an information drive regarding the Employee Free Choice Act and Health Care Reform. Tom Owens, from AFGE (shown in picture) helped explain to the general public why working families need an economy that works for everyone. With more than 700 flyers distributed, the message on how America can rebuild the middle class was heard. Many people from the public had a chance to ask questions and to follow up on obtaining more information by contacting the Florida AFL-CIO via telephone or by going to EmployeeFreeChoiceAct.org.
